It plugs right into your standard home power, and the power draw is sized perfectly for a bathroom. You get that immediate, comforting warmth. The tube length is just right, too. It fits neatly into the usual spots, so you get a predictable, even heat in a small space. No bulky hardware. No wasted room.
Material & Design
We went with a quartz halogen tube because it can handle the wild temperature swings and the damp air of a bathroom like a champ. Inside, the filament pumps out that shortwave infrared warmth. Then, we add a special coating that shapes the light spectrum. This is key—it filters out the harsh, bright light, leaving behind a soft glow that’s much easier on the eyes. And the R7s connector? It’s just a smart, practical choice. It handles the power safely and makes swapping out the lamp a simple, plug-and-play job.
Application & Benefits
Here’s the beauty of it: you feel warm right away because the heat hits you directly. You don’t have to crank up the room temperature to get comfortable. That gentler light really matters when the heater is mounted close, like over a bathtub where a baby might be nearby. Now, there is a trade-off. Because the heat is so concentrated, you have to mount the fixture with the right clearance, and the materials around it need to handle the temperature.
