Introduction
We built the Sunlike infrared heater to solve one real headache in industrial work: getting serious heat without the harsh side effects. Traditional shortwave heaters tend to blast out a broad, messy spectrum that can feel downright rough on your skin. Not ideal. So we took a different route. We created an infrared heater that stays powerful, but delivers a cleaner, more controlled wavelength. Think of it as heat that gets the job done—without beating you up while it’s at it.
Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the core of it: this thing is built for industrial duty. High wattage. High heat density. It’s made to hit targets fast and keep up with production. Make no mistake—this isn’t a gentle space heater. It’s a tool. It’s all about speed and reliability when you need heat, right now. But with that kind of power comes a trade-off. It draws a lot of electricity, and it runs hot. So your machine’s cooling and electrical setup needs to be ready for the load—and for the extra warmth in the room.
Material & Design
The clean, comfortable feel comes down to the quartz envelope and our special coating. We use a halogen-filled quartz tube to keep the filament temperature steady, which helps control the spectrum. Then the coating filters out the most aggressive short-wavelength radiation, leaving you with a more controlled infrared profile. That’s why the heat feels less irritating on your skin. For installation, we went with an R7s connector. So you can swap it in as a direct replacement on existing fixtures, without dragging things out on the shop floor.
Application & Benefits
Where this heater really shines is when you need both process heat and operator comfort. It delivers the focused heat needed for curing, plastic processing, and drying—without the harsh glare and drying effect you get from standard tubes. For engineers, the upside is straightforward: you get industrial-grade heating without making the work environment unpleasant. The quartz build holds up to thermal shock, and the stable spectrum keeps results consistent. In short, if your plant needs serious heat without the side effects, this is a practical solution you can count on.
